Monopoly

Monopoly was invented by a guy who was broke and out of work.  He invented his own monopoly game to amuse himself.  It has turned out to be one of the most popular games of all time. 

You can get monopoly in many different themed sets or expensive designer edition sets 

The thing about monopoly is it takes a long time.  Most people don’t realize you can speed up play by auctioning off properties instead of going around the board a zillion times.  This will make the game take much less time.
